Not too long ago, I wandered into That CD Shop at Raffles City and seeing a "3 for $49.90" promotion, went on to selecting 3 CDs, even though I don't really have space for more CDs at home. To justify, the albums would have cost over $70 if not for the offer. :P
One of these three was Adele's 《21》, which is currently one of the top-selling albums for 2011. Well, having listened to it many times, I'm still wondering why it's the top-selling album. Don't get me wrong. I like the album and it's not a bad one. Her voice is great and the songs are all nice, even the lyrics carry weight. Maybe the mystery lies in the long article here. Ah well, to each his own.
I know the really popular tracks on the album are Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You, and I've also heard Rumor Has It playing a lot on radio. But personally, my favourite song on the album is Set Fire to the Rain. Maybe it's the contradictory nature. How do you set fire to rain? So here it is.
