Calm in the Eye of the Storm

Storm. The tumultuous emotions that comes with hope, confusion, desperation, pain, fear etc. that leads one to make certain decisions just to want to nullify it.

Eye. The sudden resolution and numbness, maybe even feyness, of which one feels an unreal calm to carry out that decision. Dazed.

Return of the storm. The aftermath of the fateful deed when the reality of the consequences sets in; when confusion, despair and fear returns, of whether you have done the right thing or will regret it, of whether you will fully recover and heal. Of whether you will pull through. Flashbacks of the past plague you and all your thoughts are in a mire.

If everything follows this sequence, does it mean the sunshine will really come after? One will never know unless you survive.
