My favourite Coldplay album thus far (not that I have listened to that many) is Parachutes and my favourite song is "Trouble" from that album. But Mylo Xyloto is growing on me.
Mylo Xyloto is described as a concept album that follows a story.
"According to Chris Martin, the album is "based on a love story with a happy ending," in which two protagonists living in an oppressive, dystopian, urban environment, meet one another through a gang and fall in love." - from WikipediaOne of my favourites is "Paradise" which kind of sticks in the head. Lyrics are repeated but I guess that's why. The MV is rather weird though. What's with the elephants? But it was shot in South Africa. Paradise?
Some other songs I like (besides "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall") are "Major Minus" and "Princess of China" (featuring Rihanna).
I haven't had many opportunities in recent months.. maybe even longer, to listen to new music. sigh. i haven't even checked this out yet, still stuck in old Coldplay albums haha. I think the last one i heard was maybe Viva la vida??
