I don't know whether I should laugh or cry.
We have just received this donation from someone prominent & thus, we will need to prepare a label to be pasted on the item as an acknowledgement of the donation. As the donor wants to see what's it going to be, our liaison officer asked from me the sample & size of the label. She wanted a hardcopy. As she's at another location, I sent her the already prepared standard label, customised for the donor to her in a word document, which is already the exact thing that we will print (you know, something like the mailing labels which already have standard format & size).
Guess what? She replied saying "what is the actual size of the label. I need to show a printed copy." I don't get it? Can't she just click "print" & she'll know? Is she for real?
Don't know to laugh or cry because if the organisation has such people (mind you, she's a manager who's been working here for some time), what's life going to be like here man. Fortunately she's not from my department.
