Alone

Am listening to Gold 90.5 FM, the oldies channel.
Suddenly felt alone in the world. Many thoughts, many feelings arise...not sure what they are. Music somehow always make me feel this way.

Thought of the phrase "no man is an island". If there were no other human beings around, will we feel lonely? Is it because we have come into contact with other humans, hence we can't be an island...hence the feeling of loneliness as you know what it is like to be 'not alone'?

This reminds me, it is high time I got on with finishing the song I was writing - "Loner in a Crowd".
