Bleak days ahead in my dept

I nearly cried when our head announced who's going to take over my boss's position to oversee our unit when she retires end March...enuf said...

    I usually don't like to complain about people (ok, maybe once in a while), but this person coming is really not up to the job. I've worked with her before and I know it.
    Mentioned it to some colleagues already and their responses were like "Oh No!" and "Shocking". So u can imagine.

    And I'm bonded at my current job posting for 3 more years! I'm now in the "can't wait to transfer out" mood already.
