The Social Network

Finally caught this after hearing so many good reviews from my friends. An account of the founders of Facebook, it was surprisingly, rather engaging and moved along quite fast, despite the technical jargon at points. I guess one could kind of relate to the context, being a FB user, not to mention the humour found in some of the scenarios.

The way it was played out was interesting. It actually told the controversial story of the founding of Facebook through the series of lawsuits Mark Zuckerberg (the founder/developer) faced. But it was more than that. It also tackled the relationship turmoils, whether friendship or otherwise. It was amazing how his brain works, but unfortunately, Mark was so caught up in his thought processes that he bungles his relationships with people.

The movie is based on the book "The Accidental Billionaires". But the question is, how much of it is "real"? But nonetheless, it got me curious enough to want to search for the characters on FB.

I think I will give it a 4 out of 5.
