Lang Lang is coming!

I've never actually heard him or watched him play before (well, maybe on TV once), but I've heard so much about him that I'm really excited to catch him in action on 5 Oct. Think this is partly because I just started reading a biography on him titled "Journey of a Thousand Miles : My Story" by Lang Lang and David Ritz.

Actually, I chanced upon the book while browsing the library, hence, I thought why not read it since I was going to attend the concert. So yeah, am looking forward to the performance...I'm in the 2nd row! Hope I can see him play with a clear view as I'm somewhere in the middle and depending on the position of the piano, I might be blocked...but I guess I should still be able to see his facial expressions and animated movements (I hope).

He'll be playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Op. 15 at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 5 Oct, with the SSO. Tickets are already sold out (of course).
