This Is It

I've never really followed MJ's songs and career, but I realised I actually liked some of his songs (without knowing they were his songs). Anyway, with the hype and good reviews, I guess I had to catch the "show" coz 'this was it'. There will not be any more shows by him nor would it be as meaningful as it should be, following the aftermath of his death. So I did.

I believe MJ fans would love it. Coming from a rather neutral perspective, it was quite good actually. It was the "behind-the-scenes"of his concert that never came to pass and going through it, one could see the magic of MJ on stage. Even though it was just the rehearsals, his professionalism and dedication came through. And he was very polite even in his "complaints". Looking at the way he went in the film, my friend and I agreed he was in pretty good shape.
What I felt really was that for someone watching the film, MJ seemed alive again.

I'm glad I caught the film.

  1. There was this segment on "Human Nature" where he had so many actions to go with the song. Even though it was too much action for me, but I could feel so strongly his emotions and hard work put into this concert, this song...his life. Just touched me there :)
