I was in the vicinity yesterday for a reading of musicals and passed through the area. Used to work around there more than 5 years ago and there was some familiarity, yet I felt like stranger too. Quite a few changes.
Well, basically, I missed the food...ok, just a couple of them. I was quite famished after leaving the reading at TAPAC and was in search of lunch. I knew it was told me before that my favourite stalls at Tanjong Pagar Plaza/hawker centre were gone, but I guess I should go there anyway, since I'll need to pass through there to get back to my bro's place and buy lunch for my sis-in-law. Well, the fried carrot cake and nasi lemak I liked were indeed no longer there. *sigh*
Anyway, just some reminiscence.
