A show about a couple who moves to a house on Revolutionary Road, which is supposed to mean a new start or something special. But it turns out that in reality, they have taken the road of the norm, of conforming to the social pressures of having a normal job, in a normal family, without pursuing dreams, or doing anything special. A little hope is instilled, but which was soon dissipated and which leads to tragedy. And just like what was said in the show, it is "hopelessness in emptiness" as one gets trapped in the vicious cycle of not living a life you dream/wish for.
I don't really know what to make of the movie or rate it yet, but here's my initial "analysis" of the show.
Some dream of taking the revolutionary road. Some embark but turn back to the comfort of the conventional path. Some die trying. A few continue on the revolutionary road, even though they are deemed crazy to do so.
What else?
A hope given when lost, is worse than the time before there was any hope to dream of.
