I'm not really a rice person, but strangely, omu rice has a sort of appeal to me. Am not sure is it because of the fluffy egg, the way it's presented in a "package", or maybe it's the tomato rice.
Passing by the new Osaka Town made me try out this tofu hamburger steak omu rice set. Not bad. Another place that serves my usual fix of omu rice is the food court at Bugis Junction.
Another rice dish I have a soft spot for is risotto. I don't usually come across it, but if i do, i'm usually tempted.

I lurve omu rice! Best place is Ma Maison, so far.

Ma Maison...usually I eat their squid ink pasta. But they are supposed to be good in their hamburger steaks. Their tonkatsu is nice too. I like their lunch sets. :)
