Pulau Ubin anyone?

I was watching a programme on TV mobile the other day and they were featuring Pulau Ubin.

I started to recall how I used to go there sometimes during my ODAC days in JC (yes, believe it or not, I was in ODAC)...the memories of the trekking, recce for camps, cycling and creepy walks past abandoned buildings and night walks. Of course, I heard it's changed much since those days, becoming more developed and well visited. It's been a while...

I can't believe I'm saying this, but thought maybe I should revisit it some time in the near future to take a walk round the island to see how much it has changed. Or maybe it can help me get some inspiration. Hmm...maybe I should suggest a group outing and a band of us can bring a guitar along and do a jam session out in the "wild". Haha...
